I have noticed that it is missing streets, some of which are 2 and 3 years old. I went to the website to download updated maps and it appears to ask for payment. Can this be? I spent a lot of money for the unit. Do they charge for map updates or am I missing something? Looking for any advise to point me in the right direction. Thanks, John Link to comment
Boffin Posted August 1, 2005 Share Posted August 1, 2005 You pay for map updates unless the unit was bought after a cut-off date, in which case the (first) update is free. The Garmin web site should have details of if your purchase qualifies for free updates. Cya, Andy Link to comment
