Lights above the miror

I reciently purchased some brackets that install behind the mirror on my 04 R-1150-RT.My question is on where the wires enter.Will I have to drill into the fairing? Thanks in advance

Assuming the brackets are (or are similar to) EMP brackets, the wires go alongside the mirror glass, then in through the centre of the bracket into the fairing. No holes required.
