MGN54
and the feeler gauges are ready! (Thanks rightspin for the design on the manometer.)Tomorrow is the day. OVAD and a careful TBS. Can't wait to see how she runs. She's been surging pretty badly since I got here a little over a week ago. I'll give a report after I'm done and gone for a test ride. Off to bed to read the OVAD and TBS procedures one more time! Wish me luck. Mark Link to comment
Mike O
Good luck... If you have not considered the Anton method of valve adjustment (using a single feeler guage) I would recommend it. I've done both (2 feeler guage and single) and prefer the single method. Regards, Mike O Link to comment
MGN54
Thanks Mike. I may give it a try. This is my first valve adjust so I'm looking for any tips there are! I did see the post on that method. I may take the time to try both and see which I prefer. Mark Link to comment
RightSpin
(Thanks rightspin for the design on the manometer.) You're welcome Mark, though credit for the design belongs to someone else. I'm glad it helped. Link to comment
