To save me pulling the tupperware, can anyone tell me the diameter in mm of the vacumn inlet nipple so I can buy the right diameter clear plastic hose? Thanks Tracy Link to comment
ShovelStrokeEd Posted July 26, 2005 Share Posted July 26, 2005 The nipples are probably 3mm. 1/8" ID tubing will work well enough so long as you push it all the way onto the nipple. Use 1/4 or 3/8" ID tubing for the manometer itself. The extra mass of the liquid will help to damp the oscillations out. Water can get pretty bouncy. Link to comment
