David_S Posted July 24, 2005 Share Posted July 24, 2005 I broke my glass trying to get one apart I thought it would be cool to remove the coating from the mirror so I could mount my V1 remote display behind it and have it show through the glass. The mirrors come off in seconds just pop one off and see what you come up with Link to comment

Geraldh Posted July 27, 2005 Share Posted July 27, 2005 The mirrors are 'easily' removed. Ihad to remove them to putmy CB headlight cover on. They're held in place by three rubber plugs that line up with three holes. Just use the palm of your hand to push away from the bike and that's it that's all. There's pix in your manual.
