GA1150RT
I know there are probably past links. Where can you buy the RT-P fans and can any dealer install easily with a simple switch instead of a thermostat? Link to comment
BUSTED
Hello GA! I mounted RTP fan on my 96 and current RT. I used a rocker switch both times with excellent results. Chicago BMW most likely will have the best price and you could mount it yourself. Not hard to do. Link to comment
Tschamp
Anyone have a diagram or picture of how these mount, or can someone tell me if the electrical connections are easy to get at? I'm not sure that mine is running. Link to comment
Ken H.
The RTPs have a temp sensor in the oil line that turns on the fan. It rarely does so because the fan rarely is needed. If you want manual control of the fan parallel a dash mounted (or wherever) switch with that sensor. I see you're in KC also. PM me if you need some help doing this. I live in southern Overland Park. Francis
Latest issue of BMWOA ON magazine had an article on an inline sensor that automaticall turns the fan on. A dealership had come up with this fix. Link to comment
