TEWKS
I know it's been done with aftermarket wheels but, what i'm thinking of doing is simply swapping wheels from an X-Moto. Other than the cost of the wheels & a new x/c rotor, can anyone see a problem going this route? Thanks Pat Link to comment
Huzband
Just what Phil needs. More smart ideas to tweak his stable. Sorry, Pat. Other than the occasional wise crack, I'm not much use around here. Link to comment
Firefight911
I saw that! Should be an easy thing to do. I would get a hold of the man who would absolutely know what you need to do to make this happen - Woody's Wheel Works Tempting to do. It's only money afterall. Link to comment
TEWKS
Danny, You're the king of wise cracks around here. Very useful I think. Phil, thanks for the link, I'll give them a call. I found this picture & believe the person said fifteen hundred complete from Woody's. Looks good! Just need somebody to twist an ankle to generate some OT. Sorry Phil, Danny made me do it! Firefight911
Ouch! That hurt. Funny story though - I'm released to full duty and have 3 OTs and 1 force hire between now and Torrey already! I start a 96 tomorrow morning! Link to comment
GregB
I've been thinking about going more dual sport with my X-Moto. With the stock sport bike tires and wheel sizes, the amount of grip is just silly. It has been fun - but with 2,000 miles of almost all twisties, I'm about done with it. Link to comment
TEWKS
Greg, if you decide to D/S the X-Moto & want to sell the wheels, let me know. Pat Link to comment
