Pierce Posted July 19, 2005 Share Posted July 19, 2005 Well, I've scheduled a 24K service on my 03 RT. It actually has 27K on it, but better late than never. Is there any advice from you more "seasoned" RT owners out there on what I should be looking for/asking the mechanics about my bike? So far she seems to be running just fine. Pierce Link to comment

BMW's service intervals are a bit on the conservative side. I just completed my 24k service and have done them every 6k after the 600 mile, once the bike is out of warranty (next month) 10k between services seems reasonable. Valve adjustment was only needed once in 24k on one side exhaust. Perhaps a TB synch every 5k? For fluid changes stick to the schedule Link to comment
