CruisinCruzan
If I had an ESA equipped bike and when the time came to replace the shocks I wanted to replace with a custom shock set-up (Wilber's, Ohlins, etc) would there be any problems with the electronics of the ESA not being hooked up to anything? I've heard that, with labor, to replace both front and rear will be about $4000.00!. Does anyone know if that is a realistic number. It makes the ESA option somewhat less desirable if it is. David_S
I've heard the ESA shocks are made by White Power (don't know ther're new name) so I'm keeping my fingers crossed in hopes that they are rebuild-able. Don't know of replacement cost for stock ESA shocks. Link to comment
John Bentall
And you could ditch a whole load of weight from those pre-load actuators! Link to comment
