tgregg
I'm thinking since I'm riding 395 North from So Cal and I've wanted to ride it bottom to top for a long time, I want to take a day ride on up 395 North from John Day. Don't know if I'll have time to go up to the end and back in one day but I'll try and see how far I get. Does anybody know if what I'm thinking is do able? I'm also going to do a quick round trip to Boise Idaho to see my youngest daughter one of the days. So I figure I've got Tues, Weds, Thurs. to fit in 2 full days of riding and one day to socializing! Any thoughts? Link to comment
dhanson
According to Mapsource, it is 453 miles from John Day via 395 to Crowsnest highway and end of 395. 3754.gdb Link to comment
SageRider
It's about 440 miles from John Day to Laurier on the Canada border. Round trip 880 miles+. Seems like it would be pushing it pretty hard. Link to comment
tgregg
Yes, I think you guys are right. I still want to do all of 395 but that will need to be another trip I guess. Thanks a lot, gregg Link to comment
tgregg
Just got out my map and think one of the days I'll ride up to Pendleton OR which is 126.8 miles (250 round trip). That should be in nice trip. Link to comment
