If I remember correctly, I think Wide World of Sports was one of the very few places (possible only?) spots to air motorcycle racing, or is my mind slipping once again. Link to comment

But as was pointed out tonight, back then, there was no internet, no ESPN; McKay was the one to break that sad news. Link to comment
