Twisties
Well, these are some shots with the new camera you all helped us pick out. Definitely still learning, as in on the steep section of the learning curve. These are the first raws I've processed. Will need to do the family, people and places shots next. But I liked the wildlife/nature stuff best myself. Please feel free to comment on how the shot could have been taken or processed better. I'm still very much at the stage where I don't see all the possibilities. Bullett took some of these. Hope you all enjoy the show. I think there are at least a few that are worthy. Link to comment

Twisties
Some really nice pictures indeed! What camera did you ultimately get? Hi Francois, We ended up with the Canon Rebel XSi (EOS 450D), the kit wide angle zoom 18-55mm, a 100mm macro/portrait lens, and a 70-300mm tele-zoom. A very close call between Canon and Nikon. Nikon clearly had better lens choices in the mid-price range. Canon clearly had better body choices. Jan Link to comment

Joel
Seeing that at this hour of the a.m. has me craving Froot Loops. Seriously, nice shots. The more of these I see, the more I know I need to learn about photography. Link to comment
