The black plastic piece that fits around the lifting handle (99 R1100RT) has two male post that fit into rubber type washers. While trying to reattach the piece one of the plastic post broke off. The first two fixes that come to mind are Gorilla Glue or PVC cement- not really sure about the later. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Link to comment

g_frey Posted March 17, 2008 Share Posted March 17, 2008 JB Weld has worked for me. It is a metal powder filled epoxy available most places. Be sure to build it up around the sides but not enough that it interfers with reassembly? Link to comment
