R1150 RT Rev Counter - How do I get the glass/plastic off? Help

Hi,

Further to previous quuestion I now know how to clean it but still not sure how to get the thing off, does it lever off or what do I have to dismantle? Any advice greatly appreciated.

The Rev Counter/Tachometer is two halves held together by a metal band that was pressed around it during manufacture. On an RT where it is hidden, you could remove the tachometer, cut off the band, then figure out a new way to seal the two halves back together.
