ODYSSEY Battery

Hi,

 

Don't know how different the battery box is,but the PC535 is the correct one for a R1200GS of the same vintage.You do have to trim a bit off the battery fins and possibly reroute some wiring that is close to the battery.

I'd get the measurements for the 535 and see if it will fit.

All the voltage,CCA,etc. specs are proper for the 1200 engine!

Someone also installed a PC625 but it requires close consideration of seat fitting,as it's a taller battery and will interfere with the front seat support bar unless the center portion of the bar is removed as is shown here:

Again this is a GS specific,but may apply to the ST depending on seat construction and battery box dimensions and placement.

hi howard got the 535 for my st ,had to shave off the fins and do away with the batt strap,bend the connectors,but got it to fit.hope to her if there is one made for our bike.andy
