T__ Posted March 10, 2008 Share Posted March 10, 2008 Is it typical to hear the abs servo pump running and whirring when applying the brakes while standing still, or should it be quiet? The pump noise –IS- normal.. It’s when you don’t hear it that you should worry.. Twisty Link to comment
ShovelStrokeEd Posted March 10, 2008 Share Posted March 10, 2008 As soon as you trigger the brake switch, the pumps will start. That doesn't necessarily mean that any brake pressure is being applied. That will come after you start applying pressure to the control system. In much shorter words, it's normal. Link to comment
