leikam
Gary Gygax, co-creator of Dungeons & Dragons and one of the fathers of tabletop role-playing games, died on Tuesday at the age of 69. He had suffered from heart problems. link I haven't played D&D in 25 years or so, but am strongly affected by this news. Link to comment
azkaisr
Yeah I posted in another forum that it made me sad. That game, back in the early 80's kept me from becoming a total delinquent...or at least postponed it until more recently. When I read it a flood of memories came back to me about things as weird as character sheets to maps I made on graph paper. Odd how ones memories come flooding back. Kaisr Link to comment
Tony_K
We all run out of hit points while playing in the game of life... eventually. I still have all my books as well as figurines I painstakingly painted. Link to comment
