Try Geza Gear Motorcycle Covers.

I use the same cover both on trips, as overnight protection & when towing the Bike.

"Stretchy", semi-form-fitting material seems to prevent "flopping" around at higher towing speeds.

Solid product. No affiliation, etc...

Dowco Weatherall Premium, or Weatherguard, I forget exactly. Nice cover, and they warranty what they sell for life. I had a cover from my Kawasaki days, it was 5 years old, and seams started to tear. I mailed it back, and they sent me a new one. You'll never have to buy another one. I think they suggested the XL size for the RT. You can e-mail them to make sure.

Opps! It's a full cover.........

Dowco Guardian Traveler cover.

I've got this for my RT, fits great w/ the topcase on....and w/ the side straps secured, *sorta* covers the XL sidecase lids for about 2 inches.

Packs pretty small.

Fits great over windscreen and under the front fairing.

$39.98, shipped.

Or spend a total of $75 and it costs just $31.98...as you save the $8 shipping.

I bought the Dowco Weatherall and took it on one trip. It's an excellent cover, but was far too bulky for roadtrips in my mind, as it took up a good chunk of duffle bag on the back seat.

I bought a GEZA cover and really love it for travelling. It dries quickly, compacts nicely and does a good job keeping my stuff hidden and protected.

The DOWCO is put to good use at home when I need to park a bike outside.

Luis,

What do you want the cover to do?

Waterproof?

Cover at night when traveling?

Cover at work or home?

Nelson Riggs packs very small, waterproog, covers whole bike, can be locked with cable.

Some of the 1/2 covers are not waterproof and are basically a sunscreen, IMO.

1+ for the guardian. I got a Sport cover for the RTP at the Long Beach Motorcycle show for 35 buckos. Seems to fit OK packs up small. I need to treat it with waterproof stuff to make it more bettah.

Way cheaper than a Geezer cover which isn't too water proof unless it's treated too. wave.gif

Tim - the primary purpose for the cover would be for cover overnight travelling/overnighters.

If very sunny, or potentially rainy would use at work.

Winter i do/would use a full bike cover.

Size here does matter - maximally minimal

This is what I use, if I take a cover w/me.

I sealed the seams and treated it, but just because I wanted to.

Worked in heavy rain, snow, ice.

Packs small, just a bit bigger than a softball, well maybe2.

Heat resistant lowers, soft lining for windshield, w/grommets for cable lock.

Had one for 5 years, and highly recommend.

Been side by side w/ half covers in weather conditions and no comparison.

That's a bit much for what i want as a traveller cover.

But that style is what I use to cover for storage.

Thanks for the link

+1 on the E-Z touring cover. It packs small, is very light, and has gromets for using a lock . I have had, and used, this cover since 1998.

I listened to a Giva rep at the motorcycle show. He claims his covers will stay put up to 70mph when towing. Not sure if you need that feature, just sayin'..

I have a cheap Dowco that I use at the house. Too bulky and heavy for road use in my op..

Good luck.

Another +1 for the Nelson-Rigg.

2005_Nelson-Rigg_UV-2000_Cover_Silver.jpgThe XL fits the RT with topcase on. I've had mine for about 3-4 years. I may get another one because somewhere along the way I seem to have gotten a hole in mine. But for the price, it's been great. I use it often.

That's what I thought, until I saw some of the 1/2 covers in action. blush.gif

Scrunched into its storage bag I put two elastic straps around it and it measures about 8 x 4 as it's made of lightweight polyester it packs small and light.

IMO, better to give up a smidge of space and have the effectiveness, or just do w/out.

On many trips I don't take a cover.

Like a tent, you have the morning after conditions to deal with. grin.gif

Hope you find the right soltuion for your bike. thumbsup.gif
