russell_bynum
That's funny. I've seen a couple of Fiero/Ferrari's around LA, but I figured that was just some nut having fun with Bondo. Link to comment
BUSTED
Hey Joel, I thought you rang my bell! Well, here's a fake Ferrari I spotted in the garage of a house where I was doing some work in Dec. 1985. Link to comment
Mike
Counterfeiters use Fieros <linky> Gotta think whoever started this is having a good laugh. What, there weren't enough Chevettes or Vegas available? Back when the fiero was introduced, there were a couple of kit car companies that made Ferrari-esque body panels for them. With the Fiero's easily replaceable plastic panels, there were some predictions that it would spawn an entire industry aimed at completely changing the exterior appearance of customers' Fieros. I don't know that anyone ever anticipated it would go this far. Link to comment
