Positive Outlook - no?

I met an engineer in Panama last week who had this on his card.

It was really obvious to me that he was living this way.

 

"El maestro en el arte de la vida no distingue mucho entre

su trabajo y su juego, su trabajo y su ocio, su mente y su cuerpo, su educacion y su recreacion,

su amor y su religion.

Apenas distingue cual es cual.

 

Simplemente, percibe su vision de la excelencia en todo lo que hace, dejando que otros deciden si el esta jugando o trabajando.

A sus proprios ojos, siempre esta haciendo las dos cosas."

 

My rough translation, I sure can be improved by others is:

 

The master in the art of living life does not distinguish between his work and his pleasure, his work and his leisure, his mind and his body, his education and his recreation, his love and his religion.

He hardly distinguishes between this and that.

 

Simply put, his perception of life is that he strives for excellence in all that he does, to the point that others watching him cannot decide whether he is working or playing.

In his own eyes he is doing both, at once.
