jimfastcar
Iron Butt to Newfoundland -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Late July / early August my wife's family (from Newfoundland) will be having a family reunion and many will come from parts NA. My daughter plans to drive and I will ride ahead. Got the notion to make this an Iron Butt tryout, and am thinking early / 5:00 am departure Oakville (Toronto), and go to Grand Falls, NB (1,182 Km) - thinking 10-12 hrs. Catch a nap in some Hotel (my daughter will catch up), sleep for 4 hours and hit the road to Truro, NS which is 553 Km, for a total of 1,725 (need 1,609 for 1,000 miles) This is in its infancy, so any advice or thoughts are welcome, Thanks Link to comment
johnlt
I think most SS1000 are done in one shot with no hotel time but it's really up to you. I did mine is 15 hours but it was all slab and very boring. Link to comment
