Kitsap
Playing on a men’s Open soccer team with the young pups I found my running gear can no long cash my brains checks. An initial analysis by my doctor leads him to believe it’s an ACL injury, my MRI scheduled for later today will provide the hard evidence. No running, skiing or riding for some time has been ordered by my doctor. I’ll need a local to take Audrey out for a ride now and then to keep her fresh, attention Doc. Just feeling sorry for myself Link to comment
Francois_Dumas
Unfortunately the body seems to grow older quicker than the mind........ I recognize that and will throttle back at my weekly tennis match tonight..... thanks for reminding me. Seriously.... hope it isn't too bad and it will heal quickly! Francois Link to comment
Les is more
Sorry Wade! Odd how we see ourselves or rather don't see ourselves so clearly as time marches on. Here's hoping for nothing too extensive and a quick recovery!! Link to comment
Quinn
When I had knee surgery, my co-worker told me that they use an existing openning so it won't leave a scar. That left a scare. Link to comment
Dances_With_Wiener_Dogs
That's too bad...on a brighter note, I have room in my garage! Link to comment
StuGotz
Better get that deal done before Unrally ....good luck ...any chance you can use rubber bands? MB> Link to comment
Kitsap
That's too bad...on a brighter note, I have room in my garage! I've seen how you ride Steve I'd likely be pulling twigs and squirrels out of dark places when you're done. Oh well drop me a line when the weather looks good and you can take her out. Funny thing, the hardest part of an MRI is SITTING STILL for 25 plus minutes. All the while I imagined invisible ants crawling on me I couldn't get over the fact the MRI machine was louder than my RT. Seriously, it sounded like a distant outboard motor on the back of grandad's bass buggy. Now I get to wait a couple of days for the radiologist to do his thing, what fun. Link to comment
Joel
Funny thing, the hardest part of an MRI is SITTING STILL for 25 plus minutes. All the while I imagined invisible ants crawling on me ... I know what you mean. I'd have been better off if they'd never said "Don't move," because then my brain seized on that and ran amok. Fortunately, mine was just a bad sprain, no surgery required. I've since retired from competitive contact sports, but I still dread the next time. I hope you get good news. Link to comment

Don't slip on any moss either. We'll have to get together for a coffee on your side of the pond sometime. Link to comment

Kitsap
Grand Opening? No date yet. A friend I work out with was the head trainer at WSU for years, I'm going to hit him up for a good Ortho knee guy. My wife as a PT has worked with many knee rehabs and has seen a trends (good and bad) with patients that come from certain surgeons; I'll be looking for a specialist. Link to comment
