route and restaurant suggestion in eastern Ohio

After leaving the Mid Ohio race course I would like to take a senic route to and have lunch on the Ohio River before returning to Michigan. Road and restaurant suggestions will be appreciated.

East OH is not really on your way home?

 

Head east to New Philadelphia and pick up Rt 800 south to the OH River. It's one of the roads in the state. The twisties get better the further you go. Once at the river follow 8 to Marietta. Lots of good places to eat, some on the river. If 8 is to tame haed back west when you get to 260 and go to 26 south for some extremely fun roads.

 

Almost any road that leads to the river is great fun in that area.
