Not that I think it's anything to be proud of, but the local papers here claim that he, only identified as Stuart, is a New Zealander who moved to Australia last August. Previously he had transported a two-seater couch on his bike, but admitted that he would probably restrict himself to carrying pillion passengers from now on. A police investigation may have spurred that decision. It also mentions that he is a buddhist, who found the barbie among other items left for an inorganic rubbish collection on his way home from a temple. See the NZ Herald story. Link to comment
