Overheard at a BMW design team meeting: "Any problem that could be solved with 6 parts could be solved almost as well and much more expensively with two dozen parts." My advice: Eliminate the unnecessary, complicated, expensive, failure-prone QD's. Cheaper and more reliable than the stock QD's (which are terrible) or the aftermarket ones: Just go down to the local auto parts store and buy a few feet of appropriate diameter high-pressure fuel hose, and 4 fuel injection hose clamps. Replace 4 hoses, 8 hose clamps, and two quick disconnects with 2 hoses and 4 clamps. Link to comment
