Official BMW Pictures - F800 GS and F650

The BMW Motorrad International Website now has news on new 2008 models, along with pictures. Here are a few of the F800GS. Definitely appears to be a chain, and not a belt, as others have already suggested. Dry weight is 178 kg, while wet weight is 207. Tank is 16L useable.

 

 

The F650GS is another of the new models featured. It too is powered by a 798cc twin, but with 71 horsepower vs. the 800GS's 85HP. The 650's wet weight is 199 kg.

BTW, the 2008 R1200GS and GS Adventure have new gear ratios and a shorter final drive. As well, you can get the GSA with an even lower first gear as an option (10% lower). You can also get either bike with "Enduro ESA". Here's the bumph: "the Enduro ESA option, which brings the benefits of BMW Motorrad’s intelligent ESA suspension system to this model for the first time. The damper settings and suspension height of both wheels can be adjusted electrohydraulically at the touch of a button."

I was just came on to see if anyone had seen it yet, amazing bike. Lighter than the F650GS and the power of an R1150GS. The dream bike! Looks as good as its going to ride.

This is great, $12,500 USD fully loaded? By the time a few used ones start showing up I should be able to pick one up for about $5,000 Canadian!! Go Loonie GO!
