Bob_Minor
It seems that I read in some magazine that the seat height of an RT was greater on an ESA equipped bike than one without. Anybody know if this is true and if so how much difference? Link to comment
Bob_Minor
Anybody home? Or have I stumped all of the 1200 owners? Link to comment
John Bentall
There is absolutely no indication of this in the spec sheet. Link to comment
TEWKS
I can tell you that when you set the preload for two up with luggage using the ESA button, your seat height increases. As for comparing the ESA normal position to a non ESA bike set up similarly, I would think they should be the same. Pat Link to comment
Bob_Minor
That's what I thought. Can't remeber which magazine it was but I thought it was BS. Thanks. Link to comment
motoguy128
The ESA probably just didn't have enough preload dialed in as indicated above. I've also noticed that the ESA seems to go to max preload (zeroing itself?) then backs off from there. That might be why they don't want you moving while it's adjusting itself. Link to comment
