Green RT
Wait till ya have to remove the mirror pod A comment by Tank in another thread prompted me to post this. I just sold my RT. After the sale was completed, I was showing the new owner some of the idiosyncracys of the bike. I thought I would demonstrate how the mirrors are removed to get to the fairing screw under them. So I popped off the right mirror and discovered to my horror, that the plastic supporting the rear clip broke and the clip was left attached to the post with a little bit of plastic around it. Since it was no longer my bike, I was in the embarassing position of having broken a part on someone else's bike. I have ordered a replacement part, but that little bit of being a nice guy and trying to help cost me. Moral: Once it is sold, leave it alone. Link to comment

Jerry Johnston
Tell the new owner to put a little greese on the pins so that the same thing doesn't happen to him. Link to comment
