keithb
Harbor Freight has a new U.S. General Tire Bead Breaker. The description says it provides fast easy breaking on any size passenger car tire or light truck tire and has 4 height adjustments. Reorder number is 92961. Reg. price is $39.99. Sale price thru Oct. 15 is $29.99. Based on the picture I don't see why it would not work just as easy on m/c tires. Check it out at www.harborfreight.com. Happy bead breaking! Link to comment
Huzband
Is this the one? It's all I could find. Link to comment
keithb
That's the one Danny. However, the pricing is different online vs. the flyer I have from the store. Link to comment
Jim VonBaden
For that price, why not buy the whole HF tire changing unit? On sale you get both parts with bead breaker and tire iron and clamps for $69. I've done over 100 tires on mine and find it pretty easy to use. Jim Link to comment
keithb
Jim It is just an alternative bead breaker. Link to comment
Jim VonBaden
Jim It is just an alternative bead breaker. Of course! My point was that for a couple dollars more, and no extra space in the garage, you could have so much more. But hey, whatever works for you is cool! Jim Link to comment
keithb
Jim I guess what I should have said if it you don't like the current bead breaker on the H.F. tire machine you can purchase an alternative. Link to comment

The local store still had them at $69 and told me I had to bring in a copy of the web page with the lower price. BTW, I asked if they had web access and got a grunt in reply. It was easier to make me run home and back than print the damn thing in store. How much sense does that make? Link to comment
Jim VonBaden
Check out This Thread for details on how to use the HF unit effectively! Jim Link to comment
