jaborsos
I hope someone can help me here. I was at the Hoosier Beemer rally this past weekend a talked with someone that had a rack in place of the top case. This was on a 2000 RT. I can't remember the name of the company that made the rack. It was a very nice setup. Anybody here know what I'm talking about? Thanks, Jack Link to comment

Little Joe
While that rack looks good on the tail, does it also fit on the top case? I suppose you could figure out a way to mount it on top of the case, but I wouldn't recommend it. Apart from the difficulty of securing a flat rack to a domed lid, there is the bigger issue of weight. The dealers I talked to about weight limit on the rear rack didn't have a specific number, but the consensus was 25 pounds. Top case + rack = too much available storage and a temptation to overload. Beemr69
While that rack looks good on the tail, does it also fit on the top case? I personally much prefer to tow a Uni Go than use even a top case , with only city lids on the side cases ...... Link to comment
