Col
I found this rubber cap under the bike, R1200RT. Don't know if it fell off or is from something else. Does anybody recognise it? Thanks Col Link to comment
Ken H.
I don't think that's a BMW part. The markings are don't seem right. Could be wrong though... Link to comment

Boffin
I recognise the logo, FTE is a German brake manufacturer. As to which part of the braking system, I do not know. web page Andy Link to comment
erkmania
It's a cap for the brake fluid filler check valve on the front brake circuit. Follow the front brake line from the master cylinder to the banjo bolts at the fluid manifold by the steering neck. One of the banjos is distinctly different. That's where the cap goes. It's not a mission critical part, so you don't have to worry too much; my RT lost its cap in the showroom. Hope this helps. Link to comment
