MI2Wheels Posted August 19, 2007 Share Posted August 19, 2007 I have a question about removing an Autocom power supply. The previous owner had an Autocom system and left the power supply installed. I want to remove the power supply and make room for driving lights (and possibly and AutoSwitch). How do I remove this last connection? Or can I leave it and splice my driving lights in via an inline fuse or do I need a relay? (See the attachment) Thanks, Kevin Link to comment
Mr_Ed Posted August 19, 2007 Share Posted August 19, 2007 When in doubt start fresh. What I believe I see in the picture is a fused line tapped into one of the switched power fuses. You could probably leverage that to power a relay that would in turn trigger your aux lights. You would probably want the actual power for your aux lights to come directly from the battery.
