When I install the pivot bolts and lock nuts, should I be using the medium (blue) theadlock or the strong (red) stuff. I'm not doing Loctite 2701 again. I want to get these apart if I need to. smiller Posted August 14, 2007 Share Posted August 14, 2007 While I will no doubt be shouted down with tales of potential death and destruction, I would consider a properly-torqued fastener and blue Loctite to be quite adequate. Link to comment
