Don_F
I have a zumo connected to an autocom smart 7. It has a buzzing noise on audio/telephone due to ground loop. Can anyone give instructions on how to modify a 2.5 meter long 3.5mm to 3.5mm stereo jack plug to make it ground loop isolated. With pictures if possible. Also tips on doing the same with the mic lead (mono 2.5mm to 3.5mm) thanks don Autocom sell the leads but £28 (50+ USD) per lead is a bit much. Link to comment
UberXY
Don: I went to a stereo discounter store and bought an inline GLI for about 9 quid; it had the appropriate plugs on both ends, simple 1 minute installation. Has been working fine for 18 months. I am using Zumo with Pro 7. No way I was paying 28 pounds for the same thing from Autocom. Link to comment
