Regarding the new study on helmet use...Cochrane Database Review

There is a very good systematic review of the literature on helmet use and injury in the Cochrane Database Libraries published in 2003. It is a meta-analysis, which has some intrinsic statistical issues, but it is probably the best review on this topic. Data from the Hurt study among others are included. This is a very comprehensive survey of a large body of work.
