kingpinofdisks Posted July 11, 2007 Share Posted July 11, 2007 The plastic key that BMW gives you (backup key) is NOT unbreakable plastic. It broke somehow while in the pocket of the jeans I was wearing. It broke near the base of the key, of course. I managed to find some Krazy Glue, and carefully glued the 2 pieces back together, and spent 15 minutes blowing on the key to dry the glue well. It worked well enough to use the key in the luggage and ignition so I could get home with the bike. Link to comment
