Bill in Vermont
I recently bought a pair of microfiber pants from Aerostitch, with zip off bottoms- and mesh briefs built in, so I guess you don't need to wear underwear with them! I have some shorts like this, but they seem to trap moisture in the lower anatomy. I like these new ones because they will pack small and could be nice underneath the "stitch, but I wonder about the comfort aspect. Link to comment
tallman
No you don't need to. Heck, you don't even need to wear pants AFAIK. But, I still prefer to add some wicking boxers. Easier to wash and air dry the boxers than the pants. Link to comment
L Rider
Personally I would never do any sort of long day (and all that a long day brings!!) without wicking briefs. Cheers........Rod Link to comment
tallman
Agreed, actually I wear cycle shorts w/gel chamois under riding pants. The micro/convertible pants and wickers are for after we've stopped and cleaned up. Need some 'Stitch wearers to chime in. Link to comment
