DaveWL Posted July 4, 2007 Share Posted July 4, 2007 Just curious to know if anyone has experienced a clutch/spline failure AFTER doing a lube. I haven't noticed any such comments on the forum and am wondering if the lube eliminates the wear problem. Thanks. Link to comment
Paul Mihalka Posted July 5, 2007 Share Posted July 5, 2007 If a clutch spline fails very early, like under 30K miles, it failed because something is out of alignment. If it only gets repaired by replacing the gearbox input shaft and the clutch disk, lube non-withstanding it will fail again. Link to comment
