steamtrain
Has anybody changed the brake fluid on this bike, would be interested in method used and any special tools made up. Like to do my own bike maintenance then one knows that it is right. Disappointed in Clymer manual on this topic where it refers you to your nearest BMW dealer. Link to comment
Carnadero
Which GT - the old one? And if so, do you want to change the control circuits, the wheel circuits, or both? Link to comment
styler
I've just entered the 'now the warranty is out, I'm doing my own servicing' phase! When I asked at the local dealer, they were very supporting but did say that they need to plug their computer into the bike to do the brake fluid. Only a small cost to do so I have accepted this. I would be interested in any other replies you get regarding doing this yourself. I have an 05 GT, not the new one. Si Link to comment

hopz
Go to the Pirate's Lair web site and look at the How To's pages... much good info- directly useful in this case. Link to comment
ESokoloff
Here you go. Many thanks to Gary After you complete the task your dealer should be able to test out the system using the computer (at least mine did). Link to comment
smiller
Is this procedure still necessary for the 2007+ model year brakes? Link to comment
