OEM light bulb types (a question)

i know i read this somewhere, but my lowbeam bulb just passed over to the dark side, and i recall reading somewhere the bulb type was incorrectly listed in the 2003 owners manual. For a 2003 R1150RT, does anyone recall which H-? bulbs goes for low and high?

The low beam is a "H7 55W 12V Halogen" bulb. My manual correctly calls out this bulb style.

 

The 'confusion' in my bmw manual is how to remove the spring retention clip. It says something like 'squeeze together and push down'. I think it should say something like push in to release and spread clip apart'.

 

I think? the Hi beam is a H3 style bulb.
