creekstone Posted July 1, 2007 Share Posted July 1, 2007 The rack on my 99RT is 6 3/8" long. I found a rack in my parts closet that is 5 3/8" long (with the same size platen). It has the same bolt pattern as my RT rack, so I assume it is for a BMW. The Cycle Gadgets site shows various BMW racks but doesn't give any dimensions. I'm guessing the rack is for the R1100/1150/1200 GS and R1100R. Can anyone confirm what I've got? Link to comment
Ken H. Posted July 2, 2007 Share Posted July 2, 2007 Yes, the GS bracket is shorter. When I moved my BigMak from the RT to the GS I had to buy the shorter bracket to prevent handlebar interference. Link to comment
