lawnchairboy
Howdy: a couple of days ago I got to take a short spin on a friends Red White and Blue brand new VFR interceptor with ABS. I didn't really ride long enough for any detailed impressions but I REALLY just loved it for the look! It really took me back to the first red white and blue interceptors of the 80's of which they have so many good examples at the barber museum. It had a little "25th anniversary" sticker up high on the center tank. I'm getting old I guess. The motor was smooth and fun and I agree with Mr. Franz's comment over on the ABS thread that there is very little feedback from the front end under spirited braking with the Viffer 07' ABS. Ergos were pretty good for me, 5'11 185 pounds. It was a hoot to ride really. chris Link to comment
TowJam
As good a bike as the VFR is (and I do have Viffer envy), a model refresh is several years overdue. It'll be interesting to see if there is any significant VFR announcements at the mid-September dealer show. Link to comment
Bob Palin
It is a beautiful bike, I want one even though I have no need... Link to comment
BruceWA
I still prefer my 00 VFR w/o the VTEC. Love the sound of the gear driven cams!! Link to comment
