TowJam
Don't laugh. Read today's rumor de jour here and here. Although not likely to happen, the wailing and gnashing of teeth on the Harley forums is worth the price of admission. Link to comment
gasser
Tow Jam Wow! I wonder if the Honda engineers could cool down my new 96" engine? Actually, a BMW/Harley buyout would make more sense to me. Two iconic brands! Link to comment

TowJam
This comment is not aimed at you Tow Jam - but that's a really DUMB rumor. No argument at all from me. Makes me wonder how many HOG investors actually ride and/or are familiar with the Harley culture. If so, they'd realize that a Japanese buyout - or even merger, would alienate Harley's core demographic and push them to Victory. Hmmm... makes me wonder if I should add PII to my portfolio. Two iconic brands! It would be more like Harley buying out BMW"s motorcycle division. That way BMW might get good marketing... Link to comment
UberXY
Hmmm... makes me wonder if I should add PII to my portfolio. PII is busy buying out KTM, which may give KTM more US dealers than BMW. Link to comment
