John Ranalletta
A new one is opening in Indy shortly; however, if you've had good experience with any other Ducati dealer in the central states, I'd appreciate your recommendation. Thanks. Link to comment
David
John, the dealer I bought my ST4s from is out of business, but the franchise was transferred to Bloodworth, here in Nashville, and I've had good luck with them as a dealer. If you end up needing a terrific, very reasonably priced mechanic, Alain at Corse Motorsports (independent shop) is terrific. Link to comment
steveknapp
My first choice would be Hall's in Springfield. Never been, but they are the nicest folks when calling for old husky parts. http://www.halls-cycles.com/ MCC (In villa park, IL) would be my 2nd. http://www.halls-cycles.com/ For just service, this place is supposed to be good. The owner, Ken, left MCC. Very big on ducati's...some friends call him "arrogant". http://www.superbikeitalia.com/services/ If you're looking to buy and run, Chicago cycle center can't be beat for price. I've never heard of anyone who had their bike serviced there. Link to comment
John Ranalletta
David/Steve, Thanks. Have heard good reports on Bloodworth; and, Steve, I completely forgot about Halls. I pass their shop often when I visit family in Springfield. I searched the name of the new Ducati dealer to find the dealer's son, Matt Carr, is a Championship Cup Racer and seems to have a great rep on the various racing boards. If he's the same guy, at least we'll have a dealer with a passion for motorcycling. One of the BMW techs we know will work there as well. Certainly would prefer to support a local dealer. Again, thanks for your thoughts. Link to comment

I know it's a bit of a ride, but a friend and I really liked pretty much every aspect of Letko in KC,K. However, maybe that was just because we had just left the BMW dealer in KC,MO. I can't say if they've changed since then (last summer) or what service would "really" be like after buying one, but I'd sure buy one there if I had the money and lived near-ish. Link to comment

Thanks. Probably too far West and not enough Mid - this is where I purchased my BMW: Northern Colorado BMW Ducati Link to comment
