waylap
I've seen small battery operated fans for sale that also incorporate an led light that can be hung ceiling fan style and have wondered just how much help they are for a small Eureka Pinnacle tent during the hotter months. The price is minimal but it would waste valuable packing space if it doesn't really work. Anyone use one? or suggest a better way for cooling the tent? Link to comment
Jim VonBaden
I use one in my tent, and it makes a huge difference, plus is convenient for lighting too. Jim Link to comment
Scarecrow
Link to one? Or at least a name I can search for? TIA Link to comment
JR356
Hi, Saw some small ones at Wallyworld(Walmart) today, look in the camping/fishing section.Think they were Coleman brand. The only way to improve cooling is to get a tent with as much ventilation as possible in the first place. There are a number of tents out there that are all netting except for the floor tub, they depend on the fly for all their weather protection. Look at REI,Marmot,Sierra Designs,Northface,Big Agnes, etc. JR356 Link to comment
tallman
Many campsites have electricity. We sometimes take an extension cord and small rotating fan. The fan looks really trick mounted on top of the GIVI topcase and gets some weird looks from the cages. Link to comment
