ElevenFifty
?? Should I remove the front wheel in order to get the calipers off to shim them open?? Or is there a better way? Thanks again Link to comment
kioolt
There is no need to remove the front wheel to get the calipers off. The front wheel will not remove until you get the calipers off. Link to comment
ElevenFifty
I'm a bonehead!! They're off - thanks! Link to comment
twolfy
The real fun starts when you go to put them back on. There is not much wiggle room at all between the caliper and the wheel. As least not much on my son's '02 Tom Link to comment
Ken H.
Retract the pads first. Ether by rocking the caliper in and out before you take it off the disk, or manually if you already have it off. Link to comment
steve.foote
Also, tape your rim where the caliper slides in so you don't scratch them. Link to comment
