bobanddianne
Has anybody sorted out what size Torqz female socket fits the head of the pinch bolt on the shift lever? With the curves involved in its shape, I don't see a way to measure its size. My local BMW dealer says it's not available, even though they have one on hand for shop use. WHAT SIZE is the darn thing? I'd like to rotate my shift lever one or two splines higher than originally installed without having to pay for the shop labor time to pull all the tupperware off to do so. Thanks, Bob and Dianne Danks Link to comment

johnlt
You can buy a complete set of 3/8 drive torx sockets at sears or on several internet sites. I got a set for under ~$20. Link to comment
