waylap
On my 041150 RT there is a black plastic cover for the side of the cylinder head that says "twin spark" and I guess is covering one of the plugs. I have seen silver plastic ones on a different model but can't remember which one. I'd like to get some silver ones instead or paint the black ones. Anyone know where to get the silver ones or can these even be painted or chromed if they are plastic? Link to comment
swilson
I forget the brand name, but one of the big name paint companies started making a spray paint specifically for plastics a few years back. I found it at OSH. Worked great, bonded to the plastic dog house I was painting REALLY well. Link to comment
Ken H.
Hummm, I can't recall every seeing any that were OEM silver. Even the "chromeheads" are black. I suspect you saw some that someone had painted. Link to comment
kioolt
Try these part numbers for silver. 11 14 7 675 731 11 14 7 675 732 These are for the Rockster Link to comment
waylap
Found it! Thanks for the help, I forgot it was the Rockster that has them on a black valve cover. Now I want the black valve covers too! Link to comment
