Paint Codes

Hi,

Can anyone advise me which paint codes apply to the black & white paint colours used for US spec R1150RT-P's?

I don't know if the authority codes are any different, but you can look up BMW paint codes here: Paint codes

try this site might help a little if not would contact the dealer and should be able to get the codes off the vin for that particular bike.

I'm 90% sure the white is 300 Alpenwiess.

 

Black is probably 103 or 668 Nachtschwarz but I'm less sure.

How about the code for Granite Gray (R12RT, 05)? Can't seem to find that and BMW no longer 'supplies' touch-up. Hummm, perhaps their perspective is that all painted parts are replaceable? Ouch.

I looked and for Granite Gray the code that comes up is 934.

After my Dad backed into my RT and knocked it over I went searching for paint to touch up my damaged mirror pod. I followed a trail from local body shops to the favoured automotive paint supplier yesterday, a Dupont Paint franchise, and was pleasantly surprised to discover that their head-office has the formulas for all of the BMW motorcycle colours, even my funky "Aquamint". They made up an aerosol spray bomb for me and gave me a copy of the faxed formula for future reference.
