sony ericson clicking any ideas????

Hi, I connected a sony ericson 800 to an intaride intercom system this week.

I connected it hard cable using a headset adapter, set phone to handsfree profile and all works well, voice dial, but no ring in headset. which sounds like a common thing.

 

My problem is the phone is making a slight clicking sound , once a second or so in the headset, sounds like it is keeping time. When not on line just plugged into the system, cannot hear it when phone is active, ??

 

I believe this to be phone related.

 

Any ideas?? or experience with ericson phones. worked fine on several other brands of phone,

Not a clue. But I might be tempted to try an audio isolation transformer between the phone and the intercom and see what happens.

Thanks will try that tomorrow, have been a little under the weather today. A friend , suggested moing the phone physically further away from the intaride intercom,the phone puts out strong radio signals, will try that first and then your idea, have parts here to make the isolation cable very easily.
